At the PRI summer academy, parents were strongly encouraged to participate in their child's learning. Almost all the parents attended the orientation session at the beginning of the Academy. Midway through the program, one evening was dedicated to informing the parents about the students' progress at the Summer Academy. Through private sessions with PRI instructors, parents found out about their own child's progress and were advised about ways to further advance the child's academic and social development.
